La Ceze River, France 2015
In New Zealand, in summer we go to the beach. Unless you live on the coast in France , the rivers become very important for the local people to cool off in the summer months. Just like the beach, the river becomes a place to relax with friends and family. The main rivers become very crowded. This photo was taken in an area where there are deep channels which run very swiftly in places and are very deep and these guys spend their days diving into the cool waters - some from a distance of probably 10-15 meters. I have spent hours trying to get a good picture but I still haven't succeeded although I like this one.
